All on 4 or 6

The All-on-6 treatment consists of placing six dental implants in the upper or lower jaw to support a fixed full denture. It is an excellent option for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, as it restores both function and aesthetics.

Advantages:

  • A fixed, natural-looking smile.

  • Ability to chew most any type of food.

  • Improved facial aesthetics and speech.

  • Eliminates the need for removable dentures.

  • Helps preserve the jawbone and prevent bone loss.

  • A more stable and long-lasting option compared to traditional treatments.

A clinical examination, X-rays, and a 3D scan (CT scan) are performed to analyze the quantity and quality of the bone. Based on this information, the specialist designs a personalized plan to position the implants in the safest and most strategic areas.

Under local anesthesia (and sedation if desired), six titanium implants are placed into the jawbone. These implants act as artificial roots that will support the fixed denture. In most cases, a temporary fixed denture is placed the same day or the following day. This allows the patient to have functional and aesthetic teeth while the implants heal.

The implants need about 3 to 6 months to fully bond with the bone (a process called osseointegration). During this period, the patient can eat and speak normally while wearing the temporary prosthesis. Once the implants have fully integrated, the temporary denture is replaced with a custom-made final fixed prosthesis, crafted from high-quality materials that look and feel like natural teeth.
